Editor's Letter: Here Comes Winter

Winter has always been my favorite season, but that's probably because I've never had a real one. I've been up north in the winter, but never long enough to be miserable in the cold. I was born and raised in Florida, so what we call winter most people laugh at. Canadians actually come here in the winter and wear shorts, while we're all freezing in coats!

It's finally getting cold in Florida, which means it must be winter! Well, it's actually 70 degrees today, but that's a drastic improvement from the usual 90+ degrees.

I've definitely seen the influence of the season I love (but can't really experience) in our December stories.
