Ready for news of one the latest
collaborations in the fashion world? Banana Republic has teamed up
with Trina Turk, whose prints and patterns illuminate Palm Springs, Calif. sunshine, to create a capsule collection, which includes swimwear,
towels, dresses, shorts, sunglasses and accessories. This is great
news considering a Feather Girl always matches her bathing suit with
her towel!
Simon Kneen, Banana Republic's Creative
Director, says of the partnership, “I find myself continually
inspired by the cool, modern vibe of southern California and I wanted
to bring that spirit to Banana Republic’s summer collection. Trina
was a natural partner for this capsule. Her signature prints embody
the Palm Springs lifestyle." According to Glamour Magazine,
Trina Turk owns more swim suits than she can count and claims her
uniform is "a lightweight kaftan tunic, a wide brim hat, and
sunglasses."
