Dear Mindy Kaling,
I don't want to freak you out, so I'll refrain from going into detail how much your character on The Mindy Project reminds me of myself, especially during my college years or how your hard work has inspired me and just say that I love you. Oh, wait, that actually may freak you out, so I kind of take it back. But not really. I mean, can you blame me for being such a huge fan?
Obviously, I knew you best as Kelly from The Office, but before I read your memoirs, Is Everybody Hanging Out Without Me, I didn't truly appreciate your brilliance as a woman who's earned her success. You went from dreaming about comedy writing to co-writing/starring in a hit Off-Broadway show Matt & Ben to the only female writer for The Office by the age of 24. Sure, I've started a magazine, but I'm still working to reach even handful of the people you did through your work by the time you were my age. Now, you've got a new show on Fox and from what I saw during the pilot episode, it will be a hit! I get that people wanted to compare it to New Girl, but you're in a league of your own. (By the way, great picks on your male supporting actors! I appreciate the eye candy.)
OK, I'm going to stop now before I start to actually freak you out with my admiration for you. Just know that I'm pretty sure we could be best friends, but I know it's not going to happen because if I ever meet you I will be a totally uncool fangirl.
